Transaction Service Fees

Deal Once charges bilateral service fees for secure payment transactions. Both parties in a transaction pay a fee to support our secure payment infrastructure, fraud protection, and platform operations.

Job Service Transactions

Verification Fees

Deal Once offers optional verification badges to help build trust in our marketplace community. Verification is entirely optional — it is not required to use the platform.

Verified Business Badge Available to business users worldwide	One-time fee Shown in-app before payment	Non-refundable. Fee varies by country and is displayed on-screen before you begin the verification process. Business verification is processed by our partner Didit. Fee is collected via Stripe.
Verified ABN Badge Australia only	Free	No charge. Instant verification via ASIC API integration. Available exclusively to Australian business users.

Note: All verification fees are non-refundable regardless of outcome. The exact fee amount is always displayed in-app before any payment is taken.

⚠️ Fee Change Policy

Deal Once reserves the right to update fee structures with 30 days advance notice. Any fee changes will be communicated through in-app notifications and email. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the updated fees.

Important Information

Fee Display: All applicable fees are clearly displayed before you confirm any transaction or verification request.
Bilateral Fees in Stripe: Since both parties pay fees, the amount you see in Stripe may differ from your actual payout. Sellers/providers receive payment captured notifications showing their net payout amount (after platform fees).
No Hidden Charges: The fees listed above are the only fees charged by Deal Once. Additional charges may apply from third parties (e.g., bank fees, currency conversion).
Secure Payments Only: Service fees apply only to secure payment transactions processed through Stripe. Direct payment arrangements between users do not incur platform fees.
Rentals: Rental listings are free to post. No transaction fees apply as Deal Once does not process rental payments.
Currency: Transaction service fees are calculated as a percentage of the transaction amount and charged in the local currency of the transaction. Verification fees are charged in your local currency and displayed in-app before payment.
Taxes: Applicable taxes (e.g., GST in Australia, VAT in the UK/EU, sales tax in the US) may be added where required by law in your jurisdiction. Any applicable tax will be shown before you confirm payment.
